Professionalism & Passion for Horses
Our Chief Instructor, Julie Lynham first joined Wynnum Pony Club aged 12. Her passion throughout her teenage years was dressage and eventing and Julie became a instructor aged just 18.
In her early twenties she began competing in dressage. Since then she has gathered vast amounts of experience with cutting horses which has had a big influence on her horsemanship skills.
Julie's children were successful across all equestrian disciplines within the Pony Club on home-bred and -educated horses and competed successfully at State level. The family still breed their own Quarter Horses and now have 4th generation foals.
Julie enjoys attending educational seminars especially those that educate on ground work and enhances the riding relationship with the horse.
Lindsay Green holds her PCAQ Level C qualification and NCAS Level 1 and is always seeking to increase her knowledge base.
Lindsay recently launched her own equestrian business, Lindsay Green Equestrian Services. Her three daughters are all riding members of Southside Pony Club, and Lindsay's two year old daughter Eden is currently our youngest Club Member.
Lindsay regularly attends clinics and seminars to expand her skills. She also holds her Level 1 in the acclaimed Equine Biomechanics' Emmett Technique.
My passion is seeing children learn horsemanship which enhances their ability to have a relationship with their horse.
Pony Club is the basis of the equestrian discipline and the movement can credit itself to educating up and coming equestrians in all fields.
Our tuition gives our riders a framework for learning, they have fun as they become more accomplished and grow.
My advice to our riders is to be the best that you can be - you're in competition with no-one but yourself.
